Title: 2010 ZRS HD 10x42, opinion?
Post by: columbiaman on August 22, 2010, 08:46:31 AM
Has anyone used the 2010 ZRS HD 10x42 here?  I am going to get a pair of binoculars for my nephew's birthday.  I personally use Zen ED2. But don't want to spoil the kid too much. :)

I had the 2009 ZRS HDs and liked them. For the money they're great, certainly better than Nikon Monarchs I've used in the past.

How do you like the ED2s? I'm upgrading to those and waiting for them to arrive. Hopefully here tomorrow :)

I was actually considering between the ZRS HD and Nikon Monarch. We definitely like the 10x. But I am not so sure of the narrow viewing angle of Monarch when I tried it in store.

I love the ED2.  I initially got the Vortex Razor. But after my friend showed me his pair of ED2, I decided to return the Razor the last min and ended up with ED2.  Looking through it is like watching high definition TV for the first time. It was a wow, if you know what I mean.  I think you are going to like it.  :brew:
