We know it's elk country...hopefully it will play out to be big buck country come late November. I couldn't get to the area I really wanted to get to. There's some good glassing country here. A lot of it looks about the same as this country. Gonna access the other areas after elk seasons are done so I don't risk screwing anybody up.

I'd live there if I was a mule deer.
-
If you give me the gps coordinates I'd be more than happy to check it out for you this september..... :chuckle:

I hope you've got a good spotting scope. That will be a fun hunt for sure.

I think they're in there for sure! Just whistle first so you don't have to carry them all the way to the top :chuckle:
-
Looks like big buck country to me, Good luck to you when your hunt starts :hunter:

Looks steep!

If that's where I think it is we're on the same page. I've looked at that hole going hmmmmm. Then I start thinking about my 40 yr old fat butt dragging something out of there.

I see many features that would induce mule deer to live there for sure. A good scope and you could glass a lot of country from one spot.

better have good legs good optics and find the deepest hole were nobody in there right mind will go thats where the big ones will be. good luck
-
