Title: Mule deer country?
Post by: jackelope on August 22, 2010, 09:49:34 PM
We know it's elk country...hopefully it will play out to be big buck country come late November. I couldn't get to the area I really wanted to get to. There's some good glassing country here. A lot of it looks about the same as this country. Gonna access the other areas after elk seasons are done so I don't risk screwing anybody up.

I think they're in there for sure! Just whistle first so you don't have to carry them all the way to the top :chuckle:

If that's where I think it is we're on the same page.  I've looked at that hole going hmmmmm.  Then I start thinking about my 40 yr old fat butt dragging something out of there.

I see many features that would induce mule deer to live there for sure. A good scope and you could glass a lot of country from one spot.
