Looks like a nice boat, I am guessing he wants a couple more bucks than the last one!

8500.00 i think that is really fair on that boat? i think i maybe could get it down a little.

That is a fair price. Looks like a nice boat!

It looks nice. It might need a camo paint job though. ;)

Sounds pretty cheap to me, take it for a ride and see if you like it!

sea runner is a nice boat - but there older boats were narrow in the shorter boats.
What length is the one you posted. I didn't see it. The 16 1/2 that we have from the 1980's is extremely narrow and thus feels unstable, because it is a deeper / narrow hull, so it lists back and forth significantly if you shift the passengers at all. The wider ones that came later were much more stable feeling. Just check the width and compare with other brands and boats available.

That Hewes Craft is a much nicer boat for the $$ IMO. I don't like the Lund for the Columbia. The Hewes has a lot more to offer. :twocents:

it is 18', i still have not heard from the guy. kinda bums me out but if it happens it happens.

75 HP seems a little light on power for that size boat. That is a lot of weight to push with only a 75........ :twocents:
-
yeah, that was kinda a little of my thoughts as well, but untill i run it "if i ever get the chance". i will wait to decide if it is to light for the boat. i am not a speed freak by any means, and i am sure it would still move right along.

I would think that the 75 would be plenty adequate... my brother has an 18 northriver with a 90 prop and it tops out around 45 on the gps... similar sized and designed boat so i would reason to believe that it would do just fine but thats just my :twocents:

yeah kinda my thoughts as well. we got a 19ft spectrum with a 135hp merc 2 stroke. that thing roars! top speed is about 47.1 i think we got it to 48 once but that was prolly with wind in our backs. :chuckle:
but we like the power and id never get anything less than a 115 on a 18ft.

Damn alanger - you find some nice boats!

boats are my life. :chuckle:

75 is probably light, but not too much that you couldn't use the crap out of it.
we have a 50 on the narrow 16 1/2 and it does ok, but tops out at around 25, but will hold a plane under 10 miles per hour. It is all relative.
It is also not a big enough boat to take 4 guys as there just isn't enough room.
