Title: Hunting Trip Help
Post by: jdkost on August 27, 2010, 08:59:17 PM: Hey Guys. I am stationed at Ft Lewis This will be my first fall here. I am from Montana and am an avid hunter. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to take me out show me spots.. basically any help would be great. Thanks

Post by: youngbull on August 28, 2010, 03:47:27 PM: Get a map of a GMU and study it . Then get out and drive /look around timber and farm country for local herds. They should be starting to heat up this week so bulls will be running cows. All I can suggest on this side is scout and learn an area well and it will pay off. Look for sign and fresh clearcuts sometimes helps on this side of the mountains
