Title: Pattern Sheets??
Post by: h2ofowlr on August 30, 2010, 09:46:40 PM
I wanted to see if those that pattern there waterfowl load would be interested in taking a picture of the pattern they shot, with a little info.  It always seems like this question is asked every year by multiple folks.  I will try to get some pics this weekend, with different shotguns, chokes, shells, etc.
Info to think about:
-Gun Type & Barrel Length
-Choke Type
-Yardage Target Shot
-Ammo Used  Ex. .410, 16, 20, 28, 12 or 10 gauge, Shell Length, Velocity, Dram, OZ, Shot Size
-If you circle pellet strikes with a permanent marker everyone can see where the shot placement is.

Along the lines of patterns with last years black cloud chokes they have a speed restriction of 1500 f.p.s. Would it be safe to shoot new black cloud snow goose through it? What could happen?
I get great patterns at 40 yards with it and regular black cloud 3.5 inch bb out of my Winchester SX3.

That would be a good question for the guys at BC.  I image you would have no issues, but you never know.  It may be a marketing ploy to buy a special choke for Snow Goose loads.
