Dumb question maybe, but has 636 always been a 2 pt or better even for archery until this year?

It has been that way as far back as I can remember.  My Dad took a buck back in 80 or 81 and it was 2pt min back then.

I see why you are asking, it's listed as being open for "any deer" for early archery season. I believe that is a mistake. If you look at page 16, GMU 636 is listed under "2 Pt. Minimum GMU's."  You might want to contact the DFW about this. Or maybe I will. I looked in the corrections to the regulation pamphlet they have posted on the website, and they don't show it as being an error. But I would bet money it is.

Thats what I was thinking. Thanks. Gonna be in the area this weekend and just wanted to make sure. Ill stop in Monte tomorow on my way in and ask at the office there.

Not my normal hunting grounds but Ill be smack in the middle of QR, Nootch, Satsop and Skok.

Deer by morning and Evening, Chantrells during the day!
