cut a chili in 1/2, fill it w cream cheese, wrap a slice of baccon around it... grill till done.
-
Awesome recipe! IMO it's better to soak the chili's in HOT tap water for like 15 minutes or so. Then strain and rinse before filling with cream cheese and wrapping in bacon. It takes away some of the heat and chili novices will enjoy them that much more.
-
Sounds good, I make them almost the same way. I've found this works much better on a wood fire versus a propane or charcoal grill. Goat cheese works well also for a little tang. The Coho Cafe in Issaquah has these on the menu that are awesome.
-
After you cut the pepper in half, use a mellon baller to remove the seeds and vain ( were the heat is stored)... I made these for the Hunt/WA. bar-b-q at Rasbo's.. Plus put a little crab meat in the cheese for a little added flavor..

crab.....cream cheese.....BACON......JALAPINOS??!?!?!
-
Me and the wife make these quite frequently. I buy the canned whole jalapenos, make a slice down the center, remove the seeds, next fill with cream cheese, place them in a baking dish, cover liberally (about the only liberal about me) with brown sugar, trust me it is wonderful, then we bake them @ 400 until the bacon is done. The brown sugar makes an awsome crust on he bacon.

ABT's
Core the pepper,Whip the cream cheese with Green onion and chive, pipe on half install the lil smokie and wrap the whole pepper with onion and smoke till the bacon is done to your likins.
Enjoy..

Pulled pork also works and brisket works well.

here's a little different version I use cheddar cheese and I cut the end off and dig all the seeds out and fill with cheddar and wrap the end in bacon
