we are going to hunt the dworshak res. for whitetail out of a boat this fall, anyone ever done this before?
-
Used to hunt out of a canoe in Wisconsin but was on a river. Opens up a lot of oppourtunities.

I looked into a few years back..I hear there are alot of wolves there now....
-
Let us know how you do. It sounds like a great way to hunt the area. I've look at the area to hunt a couple of times but have always ended up hunting further north. good luck

LG. Let us know how it goes. I am heading over to Idaho to hunt this fall also. I have hunted near that area but never boated in. There are some great whitetail running around those hills.

Just make sure you have plenty of time at the Woodlot. The waitress lady there only has one speed no matter how busy it gets. I have heard of people using boats for turkey up there too but have not actually been on the reservoir for many years
