Hey guys,
I've done some browsing on the net, and haven't found any real answers, so am hoping someone here may have a few ideas.
Picked up a Bear Charge a few weeks ago, went to the range with my bro, shot some and handed it over to him (showed him how compound bows work, as he'd used recurves before), on his 3rd shot, I guess he didn't secure the nock of the arrow correctly, and it basically dry-fired.
>:( :bash:
I take it away from him, and give it a good once-over, only to find a crack going down the length of the cable-guard rod. *&%^!!! I'm not looking to begin the lengthy warranty process just for this rod, so am looking for a decent, if not improved replacement. Bear archery's site doesn't provide any helpful info, and I haven't had much luck online finding a replacement.
Does anyone know of any that may work?
Thanks

The warrenty process isn't that bad, and is probably going to be your only choice anyway. I would have the bow looked at by a pro in any case. If it broke the cable guide, it probably broke or bent something else as well. :twocents:
