I was wondering what anyone can tell me about Sherman Creek Outfitters. The reviews seem to definetely be mixed. I have booked a hunt and am wondering if it will be a good hunt or a rip off as some of the hunters \ guides are saying on other web sites.
Thanks,

Ray and I hunted with Joe one year and wer treated like family. Great people that try to give you a good experience.

You won't hear much bad about Joe on here I suspect.
-
What kind of info are you looking to get?
-
I hunted turkey with them and I could not have asked for more. Hunting was tough but Joe never gave up and we got a bird. His family helps out a lot and they are great. We even stayed in his cabins for a hunt over there and we were not even hunting with him. good guy.

heard a lot of good things about joe and sherman creek. and only a few not so positive things. i have not hunted with them so i will not go off someone else words. and what i have heard i will keep to myself.

Yes, I removed the Sherman Creek topic that was in general discussion once I saw there were two locations. We only need one place for a topic not multiple. We have a lot of member now and trying to stay on top of stuff is hard. I know you wanted to reach out to find information but this is the way we try to do things here.

Joe and Jodi from Sherman Creek Outfitter are the best folks in the business, period!!!!!! I have been hunting with Joe as a client as a friend, there are great people. If you booked with them you will be in good hands, don't pay attention to some disgruntled out of state hunters that leave negative feedback just because they can't close a deal or thought hunting is like grocery shopping!! :hello: this my bear and my elk with Sherman Creek Outfitter from this year. :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

I have hunted with Joe and his services were great. Hunted hard and couldnt beat the hospitality and it wasnt even a guided hunt. Joe and Jodi are great people!

Thanks. I felt very good after doing my research and then booking the hunt. I feel even better now knowing you all have had positive experiences as well. This is my first guided hunt and am extremely excited.
Austrian hunter, looks like you had a great year!
Thanks again,

It has been my experience that the majority of disgruntled clients at Sherman Creek Outfitters were out of shape, unrealistic, unprepared, lousy shot, TV hunting show watching know it alls, that think hunting is sitting on a tree stand over a field of alfalfa. :twocents:

... and if you're nice, he'll even let you touch his snake :chuckle:

ALL OF THIS ABOVE IS TRUE! VERY TRUE..I personnely have guided some very bad over weight out of shapoe guys and they all complained...WE WALK ALOT! AAAALLLLLLLOOOOOTTTTTT!
Joe covers alot of ground....Doesnt concentrate on just one animal! theres alot more to be seen...so its on one, off one, back on to a different one quickly...and thats what he teaches all of his guides...!
I guided for Joe for three seasons and will probably guide for him again in the future...Great family, wonderful wife, and a awesome outfitter! Joe nows these areas well and has nothing to do but gain more knowledge about the areas your going to be getting into...He spends 100% of his extra time finding new areas, and will spend 100% of his time with you looking for animals....
So the getting the animal is up to you ultimetly...but he will deffinently put you in them!
Nothing but good stuff to say from this guy who really knows!...
If yuou want anymore information feel free to email or PM me! I could probably tell you anything you needed to know to prepare yah for the hunt...Best thing though is to get in shape...! LOL...
Good luck though man, and have fun! AJ
