Title: NooKsacK? ANY NEWS???

Thought the big dogs were up there!

Heard some shotguns... the grouse were out... Didn't see any fresh elk sign but herd from my brother they had been in the area.. Shot a grouse with my bow at 25 yards w/ a rubber blunt.. Didn't hit him square.. Kinda low in the rump/ end of the wing.. he just flew away... saw like 7 grouse tho...

No luck for me on my spike tag. I'm most likely done for the season unless I get out Friday afternoon. I'll have to wait until December and try and get a couple spikes I was watching this spring in their winter grounds.

They are tons of elk in the nooksack, some monster bulls!!! Everyone should be hunting in their. :chuckle: :chuckle:

I THINK ALL THE ELK TRAVELED TO THE EASTSIDE OF THE STATE!!! NO ELK IN THE NOOKSACK UNIT ANYMORE. I WOULD LOOK IN THE BLUES IF YOUR LOOKING FOR ELK!!! :)
