does any one use stands for late archery elk? or is a blind the way to go?

I used m summit climber this year near adams I used it for a morning sit and eving sit with still hunting during the day... i had a couple come in down wind from me while up in the tree.. I mainly like it because 1 its comfy 2 it reduces sent 3 You can see so much more just 10-20 ft up. I challenge anyone in western wa justto take n extension ladder into the woods and prop the damn thing up to a tree, climb up and take a look around... You see down into the brush, not through it.  :twocents:

I have been fighting myself on wiether i should buy a tree stand or not. I think it would help out alot...just can bring myself to do it.

For elk i think a climber is good but any  tree stand is a must for blacktail.. if you cannot justify a new one buy a used one...  :twocents:
