I was up through the Buckley gate and called in six bulls last night.  One is a very good one.  But I think that tag area is considered the same area as tag as Rasbo's buddy has.   I even called two bulls right up to 30 and 40 yards of the truck.

I also tried a new calling sequence that brought four others down into a bowl that we walked into.  Fun time...

There are only like 6 tag holders for that whole area, I seriously doubt it's screwing up anyones hunt. . . .

I believe that there are 12 hunters allowed in there if you count the company permits also. I wish I was one of them. I see some real hogs in there!

I agree with you Allan...   None of them barked and ran away.  There are 12 tag holders.  720,000+ ac of land. Of the 12 tag holders over half are rifle tag holders.  That means 6 could be split between archery and muzzle loader.  Lets say all six are muzzle loader hunters  6 into 720,000+ is 120,000 ac. I am sure there are more elk then say the 20 elk will will "Mess" for everyone's 120,000 ac of property to hunt on. From that perspective I am not messing with anyone's hunt.

Here are some things to ponder there ButtBuster (AKA ElkBuster) I have a few farms that I have approval to hunt on.  There are many people that do not have approval that drive up to the driveway or up the road and bugle from their trucks.  Are they messing with my hunt?  I will leave that question up to you to ponder while contemplating life.

I am an archery elk hunter and you learn new areas by going out and finding elk in the rut.  I am glad you think so much of yourself to call me out on this but you are full of it on this one....

There always seems to be someone who needs to make an ass-a-nine statement...

Let me start by saying that if I had the chance to play with my calls and interact with bulls, I would. But the area is listed as 130,000 acres not 720,000 acres that the permits are listed for. I am glad that you had a good time.

I probably should have not said anything, just trying to help the conversation with the facts.
