Just seeing if anyone else will be deep in for what WILL be a great Elk season. We should have the rut in our favor from what Iv read from some of the bow hunters. I think they had some luck but I'm hoping to do better. 2 buddies and myself will be in about 7 or so miles until Thursday.

my family gets deep. its sad to see some of the gates open nowdays, we've hiked into the same spot the first two years, now the gates open.... I gotta good feeling about this year too, minus the fact I've not even touched my gun....
