Title: Wilbur AKA Roosevelt 133... any reports anyone is willing to share?
Post by: MDGrand on October 04, 2010, 12:04:19 PM: Hey, anybody scouted or hunted the Roosevelt 133/Wilbur area? If so, have you seen whitetail up high and Muleys down low? Wondering with this light winter what the population is like in that area?

Post by: link on October 04, 2010, 03:15:03 PM: Had a buddy go over for the muzz opener. He had a buck tag and a second doe tag. He said he didn't even see a single buck. Missed two does. :dunno: Sounds like a great weekend to me. Seriously, I started hunting over there about six years ago(rifle). The first year was awesome. Saw probably 10-12 legal bucks in two days, we got three nice 4 points. Got progressively worse year after year. Went over last year with a muzz tag and saw does and maybe 2 legal bucks. Dont think I'll go back this year.
