Title: Caught my first Alaskan salmon!

I caught it by accident while trout fishing.  I was reeling in my spoon when I saw a big a red fish grab it.  I was such shock, I almost forgot to set the hook.  Amazingly, I landed this fish on a 6 1/2 ft medium action rod on 8 lb test.

better watch yer arse in alaska... last time i was up there fishing, i got chased by a damned moose.....

nice fish!!! man id kill to be up in alaska salmon fishing, may you have many more to come!
