I got drawn for field 19 on the opener :dunno:
I have never hunted this before and need some help :hello:
-
decoys, lots and lots of decoys. also, don't shoot any swans, frowned upon.
-
Lots of decoys, got it.
If anyone wants to go and can help with the spread and some experience let me know.
Also can anyone tell me about field 19 I plan on driving up there this weekend.

Got a good lay down blind? The can really help.

honestly.....the options are very limited the first few weeks of the season for snows...scout your field well and then scout the birds and if they are not coming close to your field, I wouldnt bother with it...
If field 19 is the field I am thinking of, it is in the Stanwood area and has some sloughs bordering it that hold a fair amount of ducks, so you may want to just think ducks insted of snows..

I would pass up field 19 on the openner. I used to hunt that field and it usually seems to do good come Dec. - January. It is to the East of Wiley RD.
