Title: Peola November Whitetail Doe Hunt
Post by: tntklundt on October 09, 2010, 10:09:32 AM: Myself and 2 friends drew a late whitetail doe hunt for the Peola unit this year. I know of a few limited public areas that we can hunt. It would be nice to have some options. I am hoping someone on here knows or is someone that has winter wheat planted and wants the doe's thinned out.

Post by: jackelope on October 09, 2010, 10:29:57 AM: Drive over there, find some "Hunt By Written Permission" signs, stop, get the phone number and name off of the sign and call them. I think you'll find most will likely say it's ok to hunt especially for that season. Just a hunch.
I drew one too but am not sure if I am going to buy it. :dunno:
I got another tag that is a priority to me over the doe tag and I don't have time for both.

I did a late whitetail doe hunt around Pullman a couple of times and most of the farmers I talked to about that hunt wanted me to harvest as many as I could. No one turned me down on that hunt.
