Title: Beezley Unit for Deer with Muzzleloader?
Post by: HighCountry10 on October 09, 2010, 05:17:04 PM
Anyone hunt this unit with a ML?  I thought about it but the extreme open country and possible long shots turned me away.  I have never hunted with a ML so excuse my ignorance?

I hunted this area this year.  I tagged a nice muley.  One problem with this area is alot of it is private land that you better have permission to hunt or the farmers will be hunting you.  I took my deer at 119 yards offhand after a little over an hour and a half stalk.  You will be doing alot of bellycrawling.

That's why I love hunting the open country because you don't see very many other people. Still waiting for pics and story wonky
