It looks deceiving. Directly behind me turns the bridger-teton national forest full of aspens and conifers. The veiw to the east is high desert, to the west is the hoback mountains filled with aspens. Elevation is 8000'.

Sweet!  I missed our Wyoming trip this year.  Really jonesing for some Wyoming scenery.

I will you what, the sunrise in the east in WY sure seams mor ebrighter then here in WA. Got dam near blinded in the morning heading to Gillete.

ElkBURGER looks like we could have been upon the same road or vicinity this year this picture was taken just east of the Bridger-Teton NF this year while hunting Wyoming.
