Guess i will be spending a couple weeks hanging out in teanaway.
No big secrets about this place. Except bring good hiking abilities lol!
Will be at some campground early early mornings and nights around a fire if anyone will be up there.
Just north of what looks like a trout hatchery.

yep ill be in unit 335 packed in 5 miles by momocycle then hunting about 2 more on foot at least tryin to get away from the crowds. ill stop in fri. to talk with a friend at 29 pines, the old guy in the big white wall tent in the middle. good luck. -dsp-

well, look for the Black ford ranger with a blue canopy, that will be me.
11 people in our camp. i hope to be able to find my way to a nice area away from anyone also.

We'll be out there Phish. Went scouting out there by 29pines last weekend. Saw some good stuff. Def. bring the old hiking boots. :) We'll stop by if we see ya. We'll bring some whiskey. :)

all my buddies will have some firewater also, myself i am 10+ years sober. thanks though lol!

We did the same, have been for years and it does help some years but the crowds seem to find you.

Used to hunt this area five years ago. Seems like it is very populated these days. Is there still good public land to hunt? Kind of sounds like a pumpkin patch.

It's not far from Seattle/Tacoma so it does get a lot of people on the weekends. But there aren't many roads, so if you don't mind hiking two or three miles, it should be easy to get away from the crowds. Lots of country to hunt, very few roads.

Roads everywhere people everywhere, no deer, wouldn't hunt it. Lots of public land though.
