Title: New guy that's been lurking for a year or so.
Post by: racksandtails on October 11, 2010, 08:05:49 PM
Since it appears as though you earn your stripes on this site by introductions and number of posts I should probably do more typing and less reading.  My name is Bill I am 38 and live in Washougal.  I would consider myself a very good blacktail hunter (4 B&C's on the wall)  and I generally only do without a deer by choice.  As far as elk hunting goes, I am your run of the mill average unlucky screwed over by other hunters type of guy.  Only three small rosie bulls and a cow to my name at this point, although I hunt as hard as anyone.  I have enjoyed lurking on this site and often LMAO at the torture of the newbies trying to get help.  I have plenty to offer as far as advice for Blacktails and Spring Chinook those seem to be fortay.  Or at least that's what the hunting and fishing gods have to decided to bless me with good luck at.

Looking forward to many more posts, as I slowly earnmy stripes on the site.

Happy Hunting!

WELCOME.   Looking forward to some Washougal fish pics.  One body of water I have always wanted to throw a line but haven't.

Welcome, and I'm looking forward to any advice you may have on blacktails. That's one thing I'm definitely NOT lucky at.

Here's a little blackie from '08. Doesn't score well, as he's a little week in the forks. However, any 4 x4 BT is a dead one in my book. Had to post at least one blackie pic to prove I'm not blowin' smoke.

Welcome!  Starting out good!!!  I would have started on this site with a kill picture, too, but I never kill anything so I think I put a picture of my wife in a bikini instead.....that worked.  Tough crowd to please sometimes...  Just kidding.  Thanks for joining, and I hope to see some cool tactic-type info about your hunting coming down the line.

Welcome to the site...lots of good folks here! If they would only let me hunt in my neighborhood, I could get a B&C Blackie  :'( or at least this freak I saw in the yard across the street.

You should invest in a bow and some apples.   :chuckle:  Nice buck, but I think I would let him live if he was hanging around my house.
