Title: Youth Stocks?
Post by: Hornseeker on October 17, 2010, 08:51:19 AM
I have a rem 700 BDL that I put a 243 barrel on for my daughter. I am considering cutting the stock down to fit her, then getting a new one someday if she needs it. right now, from the trigger to the end of the stock is about 13 1/4 inches...I measured a few "youth" style guns and came up with 12 1/2...doesn't seem like much diff. Judging by my daughters size, I think I need to take about 2 inches off the stock, which would make that measurement 11 1/4...

Is there a good option that I'm not thinking of? I am wondering if a Model 7 youth stock will fit that action/barrel?

Thanks for any info...
