Title: Is this gun 2 3/4 or 3 "??
Post by: Hornseeker on October 17, 2010, 08:55:23 AM: I have an old O/U that is not marked. A 3 inch slides in no prob and the action closes no prob. The chamber, appears, to be long enough to accomodate the opening of the 3 inch shell... But how can I be sure?

Also...will that "old" gun handle steel or can it damage an old barrel? Probably depends on the gun and barrel eh?

Would hold-off steel shot for now.
