That really sucks! So what stopped you from getting it tanned?
just the whole thing. if i would have put more thought into it than just going back out hunting once i got it gutted and loaded up i would have done a nice rug mount with the head, hide and paws. big ol paws on em. might go for a euro/skull mount still. need to get it taken care of tomorow though.

good job. what do you figure it weighed in around and what's it's age estimate?
not sure on age. i can only guess like 3. but we estimated around 200lbs hide on give or take based off of my cousins bear, and all dressed out at the butcher it weighed 99lbs.
