Title: Blacktail Hunting Near Baker Lake???
Post by: Capt Cabelas on October 19, 2010, 02:33:48 PM

I'm looking for a good option to hunt this weekend.  Was in Wyoming for a 10 day hunt so I haven't had much time to scout this year.  Looking for some information about hunting around Baker Lk.  A couple questions:

Is there a good population of blacktail in the area or is this a waste of time for a day and a half hunt?  Are there good areas that can be accessed by boat and would that up the odds?  .

What about bear?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Wish I had a discount to offer because I'd love some advice.

Let me know...any help would be appreciated.  Noticed you have a BP email.  Do you work out in Ferndale?  I have so good buddies that work out there.
