Heading out in that general area for my first Deer hunt with a friend.  Has anyone had any success in this area?

My brother and some other guys are back in there and they have said it is SLOW. They are back in the Blowout Mountain area, I don't think there has been a legal taken in that drainage yet.

Just the 'illegals' that have been taken, huh?   :chuckle:

If you are headed out this weekend, you might be caught up in the rain/snow they've been talking about.  Does your friend have some experience in this area?  When I am up by the pass it is just for sight seeing with the family and I have seen one or two does around the Keechelus Lake.

Was up there for 3 days this last weekend. Saw 2 bucks neither of which were legal and 4 doe's. Right now their totally nocturnal. Saw nothing after 9am all weekend.
