Title: Two day season this year
Post by: ppodpearson on October 22, 2010, 05:36:57 PM: Spent Saturday looking for the perfect spot. Found the spot, came back Sunday morning, 8am deer season over with a 150 yard shot across a small tangled clearcut. 10am back at camp. Here's my little blacktail. Well, there's still grouse until the elk opener.

Post by: ppodpearson on October 22, 2010, 05:59:41 PM: With the Port Blakely road closures my "spot" has been put out of my range. I'll have to check out one of my alternate spots. I think this elk season is going to be in heavy timber.
