Should have listened to my cousin, a month ago he called me up and said he has a few blacktails spotted and I should stay on the wet side for the opener. Told me he had a 4x4 with big drops on each side and a 5x4. I thought about it but decided to go East to the property instead. Here is what I missed out on! Although the 4x4 with drops is still alive ;)
The bigger one dressed out at 190Lbs! Bases are 5"

Those are some dandy buck!
As Charlie stated those would have been some dandy capes, $150 (or free antler plaque) with there heads cut off! :bash: You have to be a taxidermist to understand. :chuckle:

Gagger buck! I love mass
(Charlie and Michelle, go see my stretch it post)

Mass is my favorite characteristic too. If it were up to me, I would score racks by how much water it displaces, not the way it is traditionally done. That way a big old masher 3 point could compete with a younger thin horned 5x5.
