Title: T/C peep sight aperture
Post by: arees on October 25, 2010, 03:29:50 PM
I finally added a T/C peep sight to my muzzleloader this year and really like it.  I take the aperture out and use it as a ghost ring during low light conditions.  While crossing a steep rock slide to close in on bull I had been talking to I decided that there was enough light to put the aperture back in.  Well a few clumsy fingers and ping, ting, ching, it was gone into the rocks.

I have emailed customer support at T/C and gotten no response.  Does anyone know if you can get just the aperture?  Do the apertures from other sights fit?

Andy

I closed to within 30 yards of the bull, but he was alone and I only had a cow tag.  Still, it was a fun encounter.

I have one on a White Super 91. White called it a Quick Peep. Thanks for sharing the link I will be ordering a few of them. It works awsome you can adjust it on the rifle and not have to re-sight.

Another good move I made was putting a Williams Firesight on the front of my .54.  No more searching for the front sight in low light conditions or against a dark background. :o

I have a fiberoptic front sight sitting on the bench waiting for some free time to install it.  Now if I could just find the free time...

When you do, you'll wonder why you waited so long.  You will love it.
