Post by: charlesbearden1 on October 25, 2010, 11:05:29 PM
Where are public access in Packwood or Randle area? I know there are alot of timber roads but which ones are accessable and can you hunt the national forest? I have some family I can stay with out there and thought about going to hunt it, and may be interested in a partner being this is my first elk hunt. If you would like to go, let me know. I have modern elk, bear, deer and cougar so...  :cmp1:

Pretty much everything down low around Highway 12 is private property, but there is national forest land all around.  Just travel south of the highway and you'll bein NF.  Good luck, you'll need it. ;)

I'll help you out.  There is an area to hunt between Ashford and Packwood.  Look on the map there are a lot of roads back in that area.  Some loop around,  Good luck
