Title: grayback 3x3
Post by: elkoholic on October 26, 2010, 06:45:05 AM
I shot a decent little 3pt on friday morning... went in solo as my group Wouldn't be arriving late that night, watched him and another buck for about 20 min. and waited for them to stand from thier beds, The other buck was a hog 2x2  at least 20" wide and probably 15-16 tall, he had a tiny eyeguard but it was way to close to the inch mark so I had to pass on him but dumped the 3pt.. no pics yet ..5.60 mile pack out mostly downhill (harder than uphill for me), boned him out and made 2 trips out solo, feet and legs feel fine but shoulders are a little tender... this was my first ever rifle hunt as I have been a bowhunter now for 16 years...
