It was hazy and stinky throughout the region from the field burns as well its that time of year in rural america.....

Yup, couldn't agree more. It's something you just have to deal with. I would MUCH rather deal with it during hunting season that have them attempt it in the summer during triple-digit heat, winds, and extremely dry conditions. I'll take the smoke rather and a blackened, destroyed wasteland.

The only thing that was burnin was stumps and live standing trees. It was really weird driving to go hunting in the morning in the dark, seeing all these little fires spread out everywhere; its just something that we were not used to seeing in the woods. I wish the logging companys would pile up their mess and burn it like they used to. Some of the logged areas are impossible for an animal or a human to get through with so much slash on the ground.
