Post by: bow4elk on October 28, 2010, 12:08:18 PM: This is about as extravagant as it gets for my elk hunts, but it gets the job done. I used to have an old Starcraft tent trailer retrofitted with a wood stove. That thing was awesome! From an ice chest to hot house in 5 minutes!!

Post by: Quarteredaway on November 03, 2010, 01:46:04 PM: depends on the size of your group. we have 5 and just bought a 15 by 24 wall tent with a 15 by 12 cook shack sitting area off the front and it is awsome. got it in a outfit out of camas a little spendy but i gaurentee it will last us for life

I use a western mountaineering down bag, it rained a bunch and I was not gonna risk it with no tent floor.

Yep, right across from Matt and Roger. Drove by your camp a few times this year also. Last year I was packed into the Bumping..... here is a pic of that camp. right off of Indian Creek meadow

I would not go any smaller then 14"x16" for 4 people (mine is).
