This is about as extravagant as it gets for my elk hunts, but it gets the job done.  I used to have an old Starcraft tent trailer retrofitted with a wood stove.  That thing was awesome!  From an ice chest to hot house in 5 minutes!!

My elk camp isn't anything special.  It's my house.  I live on the Mountain so all I do is walk out the door and I'm there  :)

Did you put your bag into a bivy?  Was it because you were worried about moisture or temp rating?

I use a western mountaineering down bag, it rained a bunch and I was not gonna risk it with no tent floor.

NWBWhunter, I think I know where you were camped.  My camper sat there last year when I had my Peaches Bull tag.  Assume you know Matt.

Yep,  right across from Matt and Roger.  Drove by your camp a few times this year also.  Last year I was packed into the Bumping..... here is a pic of that camp.  right off of Indian Creek meadow
