Title: savage edge
Post by: hoyt5199 on October 29, 2010, 01:07:31 PM: Does anyone own this gun yet? I bought it in the 223 caliber and I was told by savage it takes #46 scope base mounts and a gun shop says it takes a 46 for the front and 61 in back. Any info on this situation.

Same as for a regular old Savage with accutrigger.

I need more info.
There's bases and rings then your scope. Give us the specifics of everything you have and we'll see if we can put it together for you.

Your 61 is wrong I believe. It shows as the rear base on non-accutrigger models. I think you have 2 rear bases.
