Title: Does anyone hunt the Wildlife Areas?
Post by: army82abn on October 30, 2010, 01:24:19 PM
:dunno: I'm new to the state and I'm trying to figure out what areas to hunt. For late archery season I'll probably hunt on Ft. Lewis, but was curious how productive the wildlife areas are, if at all. Thanks for the replies in advance.

Like any other public land near a major metropolitan area, the roaded areas open to motorized get pounded; the closed roads get a fair bit of foot and bicycle traffic, and produce a decent amount of game; and the areas w/o any roads get little pressure, and are your best bet if hunting horns.
