Why do people shoot a 1x2 in a true spike area?
Why do people DISPLAY a 1x2 in their camp in a true spike area?
I'm sure your going to miss your truck the Kittitas Sheriff drove off the 14 Road for ya.
And it was 3rd 1x2 head the gamey had in the back of his truck for the day, and it was only 9:15 in the morning......

dang that sucks! people need to get a clue, and i hope they get there butts handed to them for breaking the law.

People ars just so excited to see & shoot an animal, that they just dont think before they shoot. hope they get punished to the full extent of the law. :bash: >:( :bash: >:( :bash: >:( :bash:

Well shooting a non-true spike in a true-spike only area is only an infraction, it's not a criminal offense. So the "full extent of the law" is not that much.

god knows how many they pulled out of the clockum this weekend. The WDFW is getting what they want out of the law though. Why the hell else would they make a "true spike" area except to boost revenue? :bash: :bash:

That's my thoughts on it. Nearly the same amount of elk are going to be shot in there as before, but now they will get to fine anyone who shoots one that has a fork on one side, or the person who shot it will just leave it and walk away. :bash:
On a good note though, my buddy who was up there with my brother got a true spike today, his first elk I believe. They are probably just getting back to camp now with the first half. I would of gone up to help but I've got work in the morning.

:mgun: poor elk.

Good for 10 bonus points. Because no one turns them in. My daughter had that problem during mule deer season. Had a hunter shooting and the does almost ran her over. He said he hit the buck and it took a different direction. My daughter found it later wounded and bedded. If it would have been legal she would have finished it but couldn't. Unfortunately the hunter was no where to be seen. She could have had bonus points but didn't see if he tagged the deer or not. Bummer! Sad for the buck, a small forky.

YOU MUST BE MAD AT YOURSELF ALOT THEN :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I highly doubt he would get 10 bonus points. You are able to receive "up to" 10 bonus points. 10 Points are only for severe violations. Shooting a 1x2 in a true spike area is only a civil infraction, not a criminal offense. Examples of WDFW violations that are infractions: no hunter orange, barbed hooks, no WDFW parking permit, shooting a non-true spike in a true spike area.

Same dip weeds that dont carry binos and use thier 4x weaver as a spotting scope .

Maybe they need to bring a saw with them in the field to take care of that other point(s). :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
