Title: What is the state record muzzie bull?
Post by: HUNT on November 04, 2010, 02:45:18 PM: What is the state record for muzzleloader elk? I heard a 408 bull hit the ground this past week.

Oh yeah, you're right. I just looked it up and they have 45 permits for Oct 30 - Nov 7 and you could apply with an eastern archery, muzzleloader, or rifle tag.

379 4/8 Typical
393 1/8 Non Typical

Anyone have the new book?

Jackelope, the bull taken in the Blue Creek unit was 390" gross (green) and will score as a typical. This comes from a pretty reliable source since it's sitting in my shop. :chuckle: I'll get a official net score on it Dec. 2nd.

Post by: RubblesPH on December 04, 2010, 12:43:01 PM: Had my Muzz bull measured Thursday and it is the new WA State record Typical Bull for Rocky Mt. Elk. Net score is 381 4/8.
