What is the state record for muzzleloader elk? I heard a 408 bull hit the ground this past week.
-
If it was this past week it wouldn't have been with a muzzleloader, would it? No muzzleloader seasons going on that I know of....
-
:peep:
-
-if its modern firearm im pretty sure you can use whatever you want to hunt with, gun, muzz or bow.
-
a 407" bull was killed in the Dayton unit with a muzzleloader during the muzz permit season.
:dunno:

Oh yeah, you're right. I just looked it up and they have 45 permits for Oct 30 - Nov 7 and you could apply with an eastern archery, muzzleloader, or rifle tag.
-

If I recall correctly, there was a 400" +/- taken on the Obersvatory muzzy permit tag last year.

:yeah:
408 I believe, but I think that was a green score.
-
A reliable source just told me that a big muzz bull came out of Blue Creek and that he hadn't heard of one coming out of the 'shed.
:dunno:
-
Friends of mine were packing their bull out of the shed this past weekend and talked with one of the patrol guys who saw it. Pretty good info I would think.
-
I hear the new book is coming out or just came out.
I believe the last book showed:
379 4/8 Typical
393 1/8 Non Typical
Anyone have the new book?
Jackelope, the bull taken in the Blue Creek unit was 390" gross (green) and will score as a typical. This comes from a pretty reliable source since it's sitting in my shop. :chuckle: I'll get a official net score on it Dec. 2nd.
-
My buddy shot a bull last year that was over 360. Should tell him to turn it in for score
-
Had my Muzz bull measured Thursday and it is the new WA State record Typical Bull for Rocky Mt. Elk. Net score is 381 4/8.
-
