Hey all! I am new to this site. But I am looking for some info that might help me out on this deer tag I drew for the West Klickitat. I loved the area when I had gone there for an archery shoot a couple years ago so I have been putting in for the tag. Well I got it this year! I am excited but I am not too familar with area. I am looking forward to getting to know the area though! Been looking up the area on the internet and google earth. I am having a hard time trying to figure out what is private and public land. Or if there are any generous people that let archery hunters on their land. Thank you all for taking a look at my post! Any info would help! Thanks!! Ashli

Look for new growth areas , as the rut gets going the bucks will find the doe's that frequent them , good luck on your hunt . If it's raining stil hunt all aday .

I thought that it was still open for the general season. I guess I was wrong. I used to hunt the unit from Glendale. Just East of town is a Blue gate on the South side of the road. It takes you into a rather large area of timber. Last time I was there, a huge map of the area was next to the gate. I have seen deer, elk, turkeys and coyotes. When did they remove it from the general?
