Hey all! I am new to this site. But I am looking for some info that might help me out on this deer tag I drew for the West Klickitat. I loved the area when I had gone there for an archery shoot a couple years ago so I have been putting in for the tag. Well I got it this year! I am excited but I am not too familar with area. I am looking forward to getting to know the area though! Been looking up the area on the internet and google earth. I am having a hard time trying to figure out what is private and public land. Or if there are any generous people that let archery hunters on their land. Thank you all for taking a look at my post! Any info would help! Thanks!! Ashli

Most of the land north of the Klickitat/Yakima County line is state land. Check out the 5000 and 5300 roads northwest of Bird Cr CG. Park near one of the clear cuts and work your way away from the road. There are deer in there. Snow level may dictate how high up you hunt. Good luck!
