:) Very nice young buck. Good genes, a couple more years under his belt damn nice rack for sure.
-
if i didnt my son would its still meat in the freezer

This is how it works Tritt. This was the first buck I seen for the day. If I would have shot him, then the second buck of the day would have laughed at me. I am GUESSING that this buck was his Daddy. Same local for 3 years now. I finished filming this guy and immediately ran into Dad.

he then turned back to me and I was able to move in for some closer shots. Check out Majestic in the photography thread.
There is an old adage and I think its about as true as it gets. Something along the lines if you shoot smaller bucks you'll never shoot a big buck. Something like that anyway. 10 minutes of patience and self control to NOT shoot the first legal deer I saw would have netted me a trophy. RESTRAINT

I wanna be
right next to you with a rifle
-
nice bucks bone . and i wanna be next doubleJ
-
Bone that second buck is what makes dreams come true. Great pics.
-
Great looking bucks there I cant imagine the leg work you put in to get all these wonderful pictures.
-
In Washington on public ground, during general season I would shoot that first buck. On a special draw or private then I would pass....and hope I didn't regret it.
