Is there a free program that you can use with the Canon 40D to touch up your pictures?

Seems to me that a disk came with my camera.   I'm not sure though.  Microsoft photomanager works too if you don't shoot in RAW.  If you plan to shoot in RAW which I would recommend, you need to get something.

What is filming in RAW ? Not to bright on this stuff except for auto mode. I've got a Nikon D60.

A little reading for you to do. RAW Image Photo Technique is pretty hard to explain, but with it you can really make a photo POP!

i do VERY LITTLE post processing BUT.....Raw allows you not to worry about the sun too much.  The sun washes out photos a bunch.

Take a look at Gimp....it doesn't work with RAW images but its a good photo editing software.
