Title: Ruger M77 Stocks
Post by: mthillrunner on November 07, 2010, 08:46:22 PM
Hi all, I thought I would post to see if you guys can help.  I have 2 Ruger M77 short actions with the old style tang safety, one made in about 1969, the other 1981.  I am trying to find replacement stocks for them both, synthetic specifically.  I have basically struck out in my search so far, there are a couple places to get wood stocks, but not synthetic that I can find.  The only synthetic that I could find that may work would require a great deal of modification in order for the stock to fit.  I was kind of hoping more for a near drop in fit.  Any one out there know of any good synthetic stocks out there for these guns.  I've talked with folks at HS Precision, Bell & Carlson and such and there's nothing from them.  Thanks for any input.
