Huge bear, looks like one from northern Alberta.... or maybe Vancouver Island? Would love to know the story or where it was taken.

What a BEAST. Lucky they don't get that big in GH.
-
That thing is a toad. Damn......
-
Wow, What a fatty! Lucky *censored* got his 4-wheeler right up to it..Probably a chore getting it loaded!!!
-
DAMN.....that one could be pushing 500.
-
thats an illegal bear!!!!Did you notice it had lights attached to it?
what a pig :dunno: :chuckle:
-
I bet it's Photoshopped. Look at the tires on the ATV, they are not bowed out and the suspension isn't even lowered. :twocents:
-
Just because a bear is big doesn't mean its not from here. This is my dads bear from a few years ago. It was weighed by our taxi in the 490s! It was shot on public land in pierce county!!!! Sorry about the horrible picture, its all we have. :'(
-
great pics on the link.... that is a TOAD!
-
That is a very big bear. But something just does not look right. :twocents:

Did you happen to open the link?

Damn, I'd like to see how they got him on top of the quad whole. I had a hard time moving around my 200 pounder this year, much less getting him lifted up on a vehicle.

I did. Still looks funny to me. I could be wrong, but just looks funny on the ATV.
Maybe you should

uh, yeah..... I try to shoot bears smaller than that becaaue they're easier to move. Yeah, that's the ticket.
What a pig.....
-
I can't imagine how they got it loaded. I shot a 300 lb Alberta bear and two of us couldn't lift him onto the quad. We had to climb the front end of the quad up a tree with the winch and then strap him on the rear rack before lowering the quad back down. That's a huge black bear there!
-
Too bad now we can't trust any pictures anymore. Possible real. Who knows.
It would be awsome shoot a brown bear or blondy that big in this pic.
Mulehunter.
-
Woa, that's a pig of a bear.
-
I would have passed...who'd want to pack it out! IF ya cant through it on your back, dont shoot! ;))))))))

How many trips? :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Maybe it was having its way with the quad when they shot it.. :chuckle:
No loading needed. :chuckle:
-
cant anyone put a picture up without someone saying its photoshopped :bash:
-
Not to mention that it's probably at least a 3 hour skinnin' job. Shootin' it is the easy part.
-
Looks like the front end of that ATV is squattin' pretty good in the pics. Definately a good size bear!!!
-
BAD ASS!! Nice to see a youth hunter is hooked for life!!!
-
definitely a big bear
-
Gut pile don't beat yourself up! yeah the bear is a little bigger bear, but I think the 4 wheeler is a lot smaller :dunno: ;)
-
I love this part of the story..
"He was so heavy I had to back down the hill because trying to drive forward would pick the rear end of the quad off the ground!"
that's a damn nice bear, all you guys claiming photoshop are just jealous because its not your mugs in the pics.
-
Big bear! Looks to me that the front end is quite a bit lower than it would be unloaded. Cool pic!

Sounds reasonable to me. :chuckle: :chuckle:
