Title: I want to go fishing today , im in the tacoma/lakewood area , where to go?

I think I probably go to Joes to get a decent set up for the fishing here in Washington any advice, what to use, where to go things like that?

salmon , bass,  what ever is plentiful around here, if it is a good eater that will help, what do you suggest

There isn't much around in the way of Salmon or Steelhead (locally that is) and the water temps are still low & most bass are deep but still catchable if you have a boat. You kinda hit things in a bit a of a lul right now but things should be picking up for the bass as soon as the water temps hit 50 at least IMO.

If you don't want to drive far, I'd say American Lake would be a good choice to wet a line now.
