Title: Annual Pilgrimage to the Homeland
Post by: missinmt on November 09, 2010, 07:20:24 PM
Usually get a week to do it, but this year work and the selling of a home has left me with precious little time.  Heading out in the morning to Dad's in Montana.  It should be fun and the bucks are rutting.  He is 80 years old and had eye surgery earlier this year and has much improved vision, which should make his experience all the better.  Also, my oldest daughter has been living and working in Montana for two years now and her schedule allows her to make a long weekend trip to meet us.  She is searching for her first buck, so it could be a very eventful trip.  Bucks or not, looking forward to cribbage with Dad and daughter, replete with a bottle of Pendleton and a good fire.  :)  Will try and post some pics when we return.

Sounds like a great trip no matter what the harvest outcome. :camp:
