found these elk in another spot. i ended up with 214 pounds of procesed meat. good luck bud i hope to see the pics. Hunt hard and it will work out.

no all lung. If you really look at elk and deer you have a triangle just above the elbow.
This is where the shoulder blade and femer bone come together and this joint is forward.
Thus makeing the true sweet spot mid body strait up the leg. Now im not saying the pocket behind the shoulder is not good I just prefer foward in this region incase the animale is to jolt foward. This way i am in the lungs no matter what. thanks for asking.
