Just got back after being stuck for hours on the pass, will post some pics as I'm able.
-
How did it go? I am thinking of going to Tonasket to try and play with coyotes.
-
It was great, the weather is much better over there right now, we had 60's and sun. Lot's of critter's, we made an offer on a cabin on under two acres, very excited.
-
Where at up there?
-
Here's one for a start.
-
Great picture.....thats Methow area though....more sagebrush in the Okanogan. ;)
-
;) figured you'd know where that was.
-
Whitey buck. Amazed at how many whitey's we saw, over two dozen in a couple days, all W. of Winthrop.
-
Lets hear a little more about the cabin and hunting camp property you made an offer on, better yet lets see a pictures. ;)
-
Are there any muleys left alive over there? Why were you stuck on the pass? Avalanche danger or something?
-
Yup, avalanche on the W. side of the pass, brought down trees in the road. We first thought the muleys were non-existent, then we went up to where some feeding had been going on and saw hundred's of muleys, they looked pretty good, some were putting on weight already, some of the yearling's looked like they had a tougher time though.
If the deal closes, I'll put up some pics, we have a couple options if this one doesn't work out, we are in the feasability stage right now.

A few more

Dman are you looking for land in Winthrop if you find some let me know we have had 5 acres a mile out of town on the west chewach road down on the river we had about 15 deer last fall there 50/50 whitetail, mulely. Mom and dad bought it 39 years ago I won't tell you what they paid
-
We've been looking for land for 3-4 years, can't seem to find any without either rediculous CCR's, or issues with lack of prior structure permits.
-
where are you looking down low or up a little

you didnt look very hard did you
-
Not sure what you mean exactly by the comment, we go to Winthrop every year, sometimes multiple trips. I have only ever seen one whitetail in town only out of thousand's of deer. If you talking about all the Okanogan, I've seen a ton of whities in the Eastern half.
-
Well.....how's it lookin' for you guys D.....are you still in the feasability stage?

Backed out after finding the owner did not permit for the cabin (probably why they suddenly moved out of State) and also found the HOA wouldn't let me fart in the wrong direction without their permission....
Looking closer to home now, going to try to look at a piece this weekend.
