Anyone know of any good places to go rabbit hunting? Have been driving around looking for some and haven't seen any....
Looking to stay within 2-3 hours of Seattle.
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, Washington just isn't much of a rabbit and (tree) squirrel hunting state. The patches that seem to hold rabbits are mostly in urban areas. Once you get out past the suburbs, they get pretty rare. If there's a "good" place within 3 hours of Seattle, I haven't stumbled on it yet. That's probably why you haven't gotten more responses.

My rabbit spots are low altitude rural areas. Get out the next time it snows and see if you can find tracks. Any predator hunting and trapping you do will really help rabbit populations also.

every time i go grouse hunting i end up shooting as mant rabbits as i do grouse (typically one or two). the trouble is finding them as there is plenty of cover for them to never be seen (on the west side). like Kain said, go out next snow. i think youll be surprised at how many sets of tracks you will come across. if youre looking for an area, ive had most success up by lake kachess campgrounds or gold creek exit on the north side of the lake... :twocents:
