looking for some info on duck hunting down at rock lake south of cheney. i only hear things havent been myself.
-
can be good...I haven't hunted it in years though...the water can get pretty rough sometimes and their are some prop bustin rocks out there....but it is also way deep in other spots...some spots you may need 80 feet of line on your dekes to hunt it ... will need a boat for most of it

Yeah, be mindful of the rocks. Try washingtonlakes.com and search for maps of the bottom there. This way you might be able to avoid a few... :twocents:

be very cautious!! id go out on a boat in the daytight your first time on the water there.... most of it is a refuge also

I have only fished rock lake, and the depth finder had a reading of 300 plus feet in places.
-
im 90% sure the north end is refuge
-
you can only hunt the first mile from the launch and the last 1/2 mile of the lake. everything inbetween is refuge
